WMWifiRouter and 6.5 setup question
 

I (like many others I suspect) use WMWifiRouter .91. I like that I don't kneed a usb cable when i want to jump on the net with my laptop.

My question is how does everyone have there pro set up. I just flashed StarROM 1.3 and it is the first time i used a 6.5 rom (i'm still getting used to the new start menu). to start WMWifiRouter i have to swipe to the Settings tab, hit communications, turn on WIFI, hit the start button, hit the WMWifiRouter icon and then press connect. those are a lot of steps. any suggestions on how to cut some of those out? thanks.

I have yet to get wmwifirouter to connect with any 6.5 rom.
I would love to know... did you use default settings?

I use 6.5 as well and have to reset my wifi as well to get wmwifirouter to work properly. For now I just tether my phone if I'm using the internet personally as it gets rather hot on wmwifirouter. I only use wmwifirouter if I need to share the internet with a couple people.

I know a lot of people use a program called MortScript to automate tasks, you can probably program a script that does all that and automatically start up a hotspot.

Whenever I try to use WMWifiRouter to connect two computers, the second one won't connect. How is it that you get them both to?

I'm pretty sure I've gotten 2 PCs to connect simultaneously to my phone, but a 2nd Mac couldn't. I ran WMWifiRouter v.81 and this was on a stock 6.1 ROM.

i can't get it to work even if I reset/ turn on wifi.
I get a fatal error in wmwifirouter.
I think it's the ICS control in 6.5.
??

I dont know why you guys are having much trouble. I have 0 problems with newest version. Anyway if must use .91 and you need turn wifi on why don't you use something like wifi toggle It should really help speed things up

I have no problems with 6.5 and (WMWifiRouter 1.35 build 850) found it comes in real handy.

wmwifirouter 1.35 works flawlessly with 6.5. no issues whatsoever here
