Anyways, you should do multiple coats and color the rubber under the dpad area with the corresponding color.

Don't try soldering. But generally, soldering requires a soldering iron, some solder, skills, and a steady hand. You can get 2nd degree burns if you make contact with the tip of a soldering iron

hmm, i want to try this, and i will when i claim insurance and get a new one, i'll use the old one that i dropped in the river and never found to mod like this, i'd leave the back button white, the home key would be yellow, the send key blue, end key red or orange and the ring would be dark blue and yellow or red

but i would also like to do this to the keyboard without coloring the outside of the key, have qwertyuiop row red, asdfghjkl blue, etc or all one color doesn't matter. id like to have the number row and the bottom row different colors at least. i bet it could be done easily by coloring the leds or the backside of the keys, anyone know if this would work?

Saumaum........ hey. Listen...... I am trying to figure out is I lost 2 screws or if those screws were not there. You know when you have the phone is 2 pieces right. Keyboard and Lcd. Ok.. on the KB part, you know where theres the spring section, theres a row og chrome screws there. Theres 6 screws but when I put it all back together I only had four for those rows of 6 screw holes. I know i did not loose screws becaus I have a magnetic tray that did not get disturbed and I put all the screws there. Do you remember if there was 4 or 6 screws? If your wondering what part I am talking about, then put it this way... on the whole phone desasembly theres a group of screws that are close to each other and they span the whole height of the phone.

LMFAO! I had the same issue! I knew I was keeping track of ALL the screws and there were 2 extra holes without screws right where that bar is. I put the 2 pairs on the far ends

So no, you're not missing any. They were never there =]

AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! I was soo bummed out thinking I lost 2 freaking ascrews!!! I even spend 30 minutes on all four carefully looking on my carpet! Damnnn!!!!!! Well... now I can sleep weell... lol. I also did put them at the edge. lol

When I notice those 2 screw threads I said "Wat da heck! I ALWAYS loose a screw!!!" I was sooo MAD!!! I was like this guy...
