Greyed Tethering
 

I checked the forums, and I used the search function! Yay.
Ok, but that didn't help.

When I get into the internet sharing prog, the "connect" is greyed out.

I went through steps manually and used the cab for the internet fix. I also tried starting the internet connection on my phone by starting IE before connecting the USB.

I'm on mighty 4.16

Thoughts?

I had the same problem. Try going into Start--> Settings--> Connections Tab--> Connections. Under Network tap on Manage Existing Connections. There you should see the connection called Data. Tap it and then tap Edit. Change the name of the connection to Sprint and then hit ok. This should get it working again.
