Changing Windows Media Player Skin
 

OK, so I downloaded a few new skins from PocketGear. Now, the readme file says "Copy G.amp~WMP Folder to Program Files/Windows Media Player Directory on ur PPc."

My question is... WHERE THE *&%$# is ProgramFiles\/Windows Media Player Directory, and how do I access it so that I can drop in these files? :protest:

file explorer\program files\wmp. did you try there? or try windows directory. are these the 1.99 skins? i herd they dont work if they are.

Here are the ones I currently have come up with. I am currently using the TouchFlo skin. This pack includes a Blue skin, a Black skin, a Touchflo skin, and an iPhone skin.

Also here is a screenshot of the TF3D skin that I'm currently using and liking:

Skins were DL'ed from HERE

When access my files via ActivSync, Then clicking on "Explore", this is what I see:

Click on> Windows Mobile-Based Device> Program Files> Windows Media Player

Yea, when you use activesync, you need to click on the Mobile Device link to see what you would actually see on your phone.

when i drop files and the folder, tried both ways, i still cant change the wmp skin. i go into wmp options\skins and theres nothing there. wth

im just using ppc with tc to move the folder over and also opened the folder and moved the files over. when i tap on wmp in program files the files are there and a skins folder. ive just used the folder, that didnt work so i tried just the files, that also didnt work.
