Bluetooth Freezes while transfering
 

Hey guys Ive searched and have found nothing refering to this issue. The thing is since I got my TP in October Ive had problems sending files to other phones because while in the process it stops sending. I done several hard resets in that period and nothing has worked. Im really fustrated because when I need to send something I cant. Im wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Thanxs

Are you loosing connection, in settings>connection>Bluetooth does the connection say still connected?

I dont loose connection because the bluetooth icon is still showing and the other device still says its recieving.

My bluetooth is set to on in Com, but that does not mean you are connected to that device other phone you must go to Settings>Connections>Bluetooth and click Bluetooth and then click device you want to connect to and see at bottom if it is connected.

I had a similar issue when I was setting up my dad's TP. I learned through many trials and errors, and soft resets.

Try placing the devices further away from each other. I had to have the two TP's more than 5ft apart for a successful bluetooth transfer. Anything less would yield a frozen/failed transfer.

I also noticied this issue when I was trying to send a couple files to a friend's Alltel TP.

Obviously the fisrt thing i do is turn on the bluetooth in comm, find the file I wish to send and then select beam, then it finds the devices and I select the device and it starts sending but this is where the problem starts, with phones that give you progress % I can see it start sending but it will stay at a certain point and just stop sending. Sometimes I can even send 1 or 2 files and on the 3rd file to the same device it freezes

My Tp is doing the same exact thing. I can trasfer just fine with my girl friends Vogue. Can even view bluethooth shares and transfer fine with her unlocked phone.. But my TP will not transfer anything obex. Just like first post the phone will start the transfer then lock up.. There seems to be no time out so i will have to softreset.. Vary anoying!

I have the same problem. Tried 1000 different combinations, soft/hard resets to no avail. Although I did have better luck spreading the phones out farther apart just like Raven said. But it's still, for me, a hit and miss. Some files will send like a bat outa heck and others will hang. So I just gave up.

Im glad to know Im not the only one having this issue but not happy cause apparently its not supposed to work like this. Lets see if anyone can dig au any fix
