Email that doesn't delete off server
 

I'm currently using mail2web push email, and i like the fact that when i delete msgs, they do *not* delete off the server... but the free service is no longer going to be free, and so i'm out looking for other options...

my only reqirement is having it not delete off the server, however, push email would be nice as well... any one have any ideas?

I use IMAP4 and POP3 both do not delete the email from the server unless you delete it from your phone or from the server manually.

strait up gmail imap is good, there are a few options to have push with it, but I just do 15min mail, with daily contact & calender sync.

yea, i wanna be able to delete off the phone w/o messinup the mail on the server...

to be clear, when deleting mail from gmail's inbox via imap it will stay in "all mail". it just takes it out of the inbox. (although deleting via website, moves to trash. instead they have a button to archive)
btw, for imap clients your supposed to have it "delete off server" instead of "move to server trash"

I just saw this in gmail settings.
mine is set to Immediate, and works as stated above.
I assume if you check "Do Not..." then they will stay in the inbox, ect...

Do you know if this works in yahoo? I want my emails to delete on the yahoo server when I delete on phone but can't seem to get it to do that. Gmail does it just fine.
