wow major fail, Lithium batteries are typically rated for hundreds of charges. Letting it drain completely before charging actually wears the battery out faster. NiCd batteries are the ones you gotta let drain before you charge again.

I got an extra battery when they shipped my pro to replace the mogul. one brand new in box and an extra one inside the packing.

I just did the same today. Went in and asked if they have had complaints about battery life on the Touch Pro. I said I get around 5 or 6 hours with heavy usage. The girl said she would check to see if they had a battery in the back. She came back and handed me one! I didn't even ask for a spare, she suggested it.
