Im I the only one receiving spam?
 

The last couple of months I have been receiving spam through my picture mail account. I called sprint and they advised me that I had to option 1) to change my phone number or 2) to cancel picturemail. If your having the same problem as me, what was route number 3? I am using Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79 I am still being flooded with spam.

I had that too. What it was is that somehow my alternate email address dbrown1234124@pm.sprint.com got out and was getting spammed. So, I had them reset my Picture Mail account, and I set up a new email alias. Then the spam stopped. I got 500 msgs in one month like that...

my best guess asto how your getting spam is cuz youflaunt your addy out like that and bots will pick up on it. editthat post and add spaces or asterisks

Man,, I get like 2 spam bank texts like once a month, that's about it....not close to the 500 and LOL at the above post.

I changed the email address and im still getting spam. I would thought that more users would have the same problem. My account includes picturemail I have tryed going on to sprints picture website to block the spam but it is clearly not working?

If you read the whole post - you would see that I did change it because the one I posted is the one that got out. That one no longer exists.

Did you actually call sprint and have them deactivate your Picturemail account for 48 hours then reinstate it? That is what I had to do. They knew about the problem.

i only recieve one or two a month

I get 1 or 2 a month...but that's about it.
