Hardware Keyboard Problem
 

I have been having a problem with my Hardware keyboard lately. It is highly unresponsive. 90% of the time it wont type at all or it will grab a few random characters, then it seems like one of the keys sticks and it prints w/e character over and over, even when I slide the keyboard closed.

I thought maybe it was a software problem making it laggy and tried a hard-reset, but nothing. (Changed to KK's Loaded ROM this morning and the issue persists)

Is this a hardware issue that I need to get repaired?
Any ideas?

Had the same problem.
Sent my phone to HTC for warranty repair last week.
Called them earlier today and they said they're awaiting the delivery of a part (I imagine a new keyboard)

Using my Mogul for now.. man this thing is slow

I had the problem. Flashed back to the stock ROM. Everything's workin' now. But, I'm still goin' to pick up my new TP tomorrow.

i just got this same problem yesterday :( im gonna try and reflash tho ive been running perfectly fine on KK's rom for over a month with no issues...

i had the same problem a couple weeks ago. it intermittently worked for about a week and then completely died. i had no insurance so i went to sprint, paid $55 and they got me a brand new one next day. now safe to say i have the TEP insurance so i can just swap it right out at a store if this were to happen again... make up ur mind quickly what you would like to do b/c the sprint rep told me that the payment would be $105 soon (instead of 55) at the end of april i believe. i could have gone through the manufacturer but decided i would prob spend atleast 10 bucks for shipping and insurance and i would not have my phone for atleast 2 weeks with no phone replacement

by the way, i tried flashing back to stock sprint rom and i still had the hardware keyboard issues, nothing fixed it, it was obviously a hardware problem

Thanks for the responses guys. Im def gonna be taking my unit to the sprint store tonight.
