Tele Nav Free?!
 

Ive searched for a similar topic and this (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=678786) was the closest thing I found...

I decided to make a new thread b/c I figured this was unusual circumstances.
My TP has been flashed to Sprint Raphael Radio V1.11.00F and Mighty Rom 4.16.

I havent ran Tele Nav on a Touch Pro since my first one that I got back in November (this is my 5th one due to keyboard and screen malfunctions).
I ran Tele Nav the other day and there was no trial (i.e. 4 days left) or no message telling me to purchase it. I DO NOT have the simply Everything plan either. Has this happened to anyone?

i noticed the other day that my touch pro running the stock rom let me use sprint navigation without nagging about trial or payment...

do you have the simply everything plan? because its free with that and wont ask you.

TeleNav is free with the Simply Everything Plans, otherwise it is 9.95 a month.

Give it a few weeks and see if you're still getting it for free :toothy10: .

I've seen people with other devices say the same thing being said here the first few days with their new device, although their prior device also had Sprint Navigation, but didn't work because they didn't pay for it.

And some days later they came back saying the free ride ended, no pun intended.

Given the new install of Telenav after the ROM flash, you're being granted a free trial.

i had it for free on my old phone (sanyo m1), but on the touch pro it worked for a little bit and stopped. i use garmin and tt7 anyways. it was good for traffic, but garmin does traffic too.

I dont have the simply everything plan and I called sprint 20 mins ago and they said that there was no charge for the Navigation on my account. I didnt wanna go into the details above with the customer service rep for obvious reasons.

Telnav is free on the talk/message/data plans with Sprint as well as the Everything Plan.

Technically its not free, so if you ask anyone they will probably tell you its 9.95. I personally have had my touch pro since the first day it came out at best buy (oct 25th) I haven't been charged for telenav and i use it everyday. i'm on the sero $50 1250 minute plan.

I think its free with any data plan. I cant remember exactly what the CSR told me, but this was last year on my Samsung M610, and said it was free.

Interesting.... I have the SERO 500 plan, but I don't have Sprint Nav or TeleNav for free. I spoke with Sprint about it last week before my vacation to NYC, and they gave me a few different answers (as usual). They said that Sprint Nav was included with all data plans, but TeleNav was $9.95. Then they said that I have the unlimited data plan that is required for Sprint Nav, but I would have to pay $9.95 a month for the service. Then I was told that it was included. Keep in mind, I have a Mogul (or at least until tomorrow). I wonder if I'll have it free when I get my Touch Pro tomorrow. That'd be awesome if I do.

Basically, if it comes on your phone, its free as long as you have a data plan. If you have to install it on your phone, you may get charged, but the TP comes with it, or at least Sprints version of it.

Telnav is included in my talk/message/data plan with Sprint. I do not pay extra for it. There for... It is free with my plan.

correct if it comes with your plan (like all of the simple everything plan) then of course its included. i believe the OP was speaking of regular plans with data and text only, like some of the granfathered packages that have text and data.

im on the sero plan and when i just started the sprint nav app it asked me to purchase?? i keep hearing people saying telenav...is this something seperate from sprint nav?
