error code 67 on my tp help
 

tried downloading updates for my weather and all of a sudden i get a dreaded error 67 please help this just happened recently

have you tried a profile update?

67 means invalid Username or Password on the sprint vision network. The first step to resolving that is to do a Profile update, available in Start-Settings-System, update data profile.

If that doesn't fix it (or you get another error, like 1012), your best bet is to call Sprint. It could be a provisioning issue on their end.

Also of note, repeated attempts can cause a 20 minute lock out period

I have been getting same error few times tonight on both TP and Touch .

im using mighty mikes new rom and it seem he does not have update data i will go to his thread and find out a work around

Are there any instructions for that download? I am having issue with Error 67 after downloading Yay 4 Juggs Rom to my Sprint TP. Thanks.

That download from bestjudge should work, i have used it on Mightymike's ROM's before. If your on a different ROM and it's still not working with that download, you may need to flash back to the Sprint stock ROM, do an Update Data Profile, see if it works, then flash back to whatever you had on before. Like Matt said though, if you get the Update Data Profile to work and get a different message (1012) call Sprint (*2). Keep us posted.

i too get the error 67, but only when i try to use the stock internet sharing program to tether my laptop to it. i can still connect to data though before and after that error by either using opera, google maps, texting. why would it be only for internet sharing that i get this problem? i updated profile and same problem. i use wmwifirouter for tethering but i prefer the internet sharing program for longterm laptop usage.

just called *2 an put in number and it started updating my phone. anyone have this done before? very wierd
