Need help with bluetooth audio
I bought an Eclipse CD3200 car audio system and had it installed over the weekend. Normally, I like to watch my slingbox in the car when I am not driving of course:) and also answer the phone over the bluetooth connection.
Every time I connect to the bluetooth audio to listen to my slingbox the @#$$# Windows Media Player starts and I have to stop it so that I can hear my Slingbox. How can you stop the Windows Media Player from starting? Thanks:) Donna |
Re: Need help with bluetooth audio
You can use advanced config to change the default application.

Re: Need help with bluetooth audio
I don't know about tsousan's solution, but this was a problem with pocket player on the touch pro. According to conduits (makers of pocket player) touch flow intercepts the AVRCP commands in a wierd way. They implemented a workaround in a newer version, but wit the older version, if you stopped the HTC audio manaager, it would qork OK. Their workaround in the newer versions doen't work 100% of the time either - I found that out when I tried to pause a NIN song, but instead started hearing Thin Lizzy in the mix. Turns out Thin Lizzy was queued up in the HTC audio manager and the two programs were playing 2 songs simultaneously.
So try killling the HTC audio manager process with a 3rd party task manager after start up. |
