Easy question... but i cant find the answer: USB Menu
 

Hey guys...

For some reason, when i plug in the USB, i no longer get that handy menu that asks what you want to do. The internet sharing application just opens on its own and thats that.

How do i get that menu back?

Ive spent all morning searching and basically scourin gmy phone just to find it.

Can you help a brother out?

Did you go to SEttings>Connections>USB to PC and check your settings there.

Ok... After using that cab...

The internet sharing program no longer auto starts, but i still dont get the handy menu.

Dang it.

Try unchecking the box, wait a couple minutes, soft reset, then check the box. Soft reset may not be needed, but just being thorough

No prob. Ive spent most of my mornin looking, but then again, 2 heads are better than one.

OK... I -

Unchecked the box -> Tried it and nothing (good) -> Reset -> Tried it and nothing (good) and then Checked it -> waited -> Checked to make sure it was still checked -> Reset -> Checked again to make sure it was checked -> and then tried it....

and nothing. No menu still. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Got it!

1. Uninstall the file from post number 3 if you installed it
2. Connect Phone to computer
3. When internet sharing pops up, hit connect and let it connect
4. Once it connects, hit disconnect to disconnect
5. Take out USB cable
6. Plug it back in
7. ???
8. Profit

Haha... How the HELL could that actually work. Sometimes man... its too easy.

I wasnt even using the Internet Sharing earlier... Wow. So stupid.

Here's my best explanation

I was using internet sharing, and did not properly close it when I unplugged it (I terminated it) so the phone was stuck in wanting to use internet sharing somehow, so once that was properly shut down it all went back to normal
