had mine since mid november, did have 2 trade outs the first week but #3 has lasted me since then. i wouldn't say the TP is built like crap, i think just like anything else the bugs have to be worked out

thanks

Do you mean the Sprint stores? I got mine from tele-sales before Besy Buy had them. I have had no problems at all. I think it depends on how you use it and whta you do to it.

My current unit seems to be doing great. Of course, this is unit #3 after numerous problems with the prior units...

Re: Who is NOT having problems with their TP?

I'm on my 2nd TP after having the keyboard die on the first one. Keyboard died on this one after 2 weeks. My mom has the same phone with stock rom and her keyboard just died as well.

Being fed up with exchanging phones I took mine apart and fixed it but I can see why it happens. The battery presses against the ribbon cable and if you jiggle it enough or push on the battery it'll pop that connector off every time. Goofy design. There's yet another connector under the spacebar that can come loose as well.

Im still on my TP with a build date of 12-27-08, and its been perfect. Sliding keyboard is still nice and solid, chrome isnt chipped or cracked, and the screen is flawless. Couldn't be happier with this present phone. Nows about the time when i do something stupid like drop it in a bathtub, or lose it. Knock on wood....

I keep my TP in my shirt pocket and have made a habit of holding my pocket when flushing or putting down the toilet seat (i've been trained well by the women in my life) after watching my Titan bounch off the toilet seat and on to the floor.... my heart stopped and everything was in slow motion.

ANYWAY, as for the topic at hand, I've only had my TP for 3 weeks and haven't had any problems with it besides the battery life. Any of the little quirks that I've noticed (software wise) I've just attributed to the ROM I'm using, Juggalo's.
