Random Connection Drops?

It seems over the past few days that I randomly just lose my internet connection entirely on my TP. It's not that I'm moving location because I'm just sitting here at work. Is this a normal thing? The only way to fix it I found is to give the TP a soft reset and then everything is good to go. This happen to anyone else?

Just sounds like a weak signal. I have to do a soft reset sometimes to get evdo back.

Has happened to me since the day the damn TP was launched, on stock and custom ROMs. Never happened on my Mogul.

Maybe i'm changing a registry setting that I don't know about, but it's retarded how much mine randomly drops connection even if the evdo data arrows are on.

hey! this used to happen to me and I never found a real fix. But, I tried out 6.5 awhile back and didn't like it so..I loaded up the stock ROM again. Now I guess it was a bad flash from the factory or something but I no longer have the connection idle thing happen.

Re: Random Connection Drops?

Just searching around myself - I had this happen yesterday and it took me 2 soft resets to get it working. I had it happen again this morning after I had a connection. I am wondering if it is settings in Phoneweaver or the hack for tethering - trying to find some suggestions. I read the old tethering hack thread and some people had this problem after the hack. I might try to reverse the hack and see if that helps.
