Fix: Adding custom city to Weather Database for Manila 2 TP2

This only works if you are using Manila 2. If you are using the regular Manila, then go here for instructions. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408918

Get this database editor for Manila 2/Rhodium

Could you list a city you tried to add and got that error? Let me try on my phone and see if I get the same problem.

This really depends on what version of TF3D you are using.

All those worked for me. Which custom ROM are you using? I am using Merdin's 4.0 with Manila 2 TouchFlo.

funny. the exact same.

Edit. so they brought up the weather for you?

also. now i'm getting "There was a connection error..." yet the non-customs are working fine.

Yes, I got the weather for all the cities you listed. Did you delete the cached database? Also, try using a dash instead of the space in the city name.

I think the connection error has something to with the ROM. I get intermittent DATA problems with it.

lehigh-acres

That's how Accuweather has it in the URL.

unzip the attached file and using a file management program like total commander do the following.

Delete:

\Application Data\HTC\databases\forecast_cache.db

And Replace(with attached file below):
\Windows\2330fc3c_manila

and actually... i do live in lehigh.

install the software but don't create in cities yet. then delete the cache file, replace the manila file and soft reset. then go back to the weather tab and it you should see it creating new weather cities. after you see that, then go back to the custom weather program and add your cities. then go back to the weather tab and add the ones there that you just added in the custom weather program.
