Well, My bank is not listed as one of the providers so I can't post any reviews.. I'll let the lucky ones with their institutions listed for that!!!

My bank is not available through this app. Does anyone know of an app for Bank of America???

Late to this party.
I guess I just dont get why you would use an app for something Opera can handle really well.
And most major banks are developing mobile versions of their sites for people using cell phones.
USAA's mobile site is great, and might even include check scanning from your phone!

I agree, and I do the same thing. Their texts never reveal full account numbers, and the commands are simple enough to get the info you want and do what you need.

Opera seems to handle a lot better than IE but one thing that has failed to work is Bank of America Mobile Banking using "bofa.mobi" or "bankofamerica.com/mobile". Says that the device is not supported. Anyone else having this problem. I remember being able to access from Opera on earlier builds (maybe later builds) don't remember...

Ok! For those interested...I found a fix! Taken from PPC Geeks at: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=1006702&highlight=opera%3Aconfig# post1006702

Here's the solution:

Open Opera Mobile and type in the URL "opera:config"
Select "User Agent" and set it to 3
Close Opera
Do a soft reset of your device

Worked for me! Yes!

Re: Mobile Banking

I can't get the User Agent setting to "stick". It keeps reverting back to 1. When I change the setting, it brings up a script saying "may require restart." If I navigate away from the page and then come back, it's back at 1. However, if I then change it to 3 again, the script says "no changes to be made." So I guess it's taking it there (and just showing it incorrectly)... But regardless, once I soft reset, it's always back to 1.

Any thoughts?

+1 on Chase SMS. Very easy to use and you can get all the info you need within seconds after sending a text message.

Wouldn't mind the app tho :P

I'm using Opera Mobile 10 Beta 2. When you go into opera:config, you change the User Agent to 3. There is now a "Default" button just below the text box. That makes it stick after a soft reset.
