Can't sign into aim...
 

Not sure if this is the proper place for this, but I tried a search and didn't find anything. I'm unable to sign into AIM using the stock messaging app or anything but official aol software. I made a new screen name and it works fine. I think my name got blocked or something. Does anyone know how to reset the account and make it work?

It may be that you tried signing in too many times in a short period of time and they blocked your account temporarily. Or that you attempted to login with the the password wrong too many times. See if it lets up in a day. If only one of your screennames are affected it's obviously your account.
