Program to Boost Microphone Gain during Calls
 

Currently the only issue Im having is that some of my callers are complaining that Im too quiet and they cant hear me. Is there any software out there that will boost the in-call gain? I've been crusing the registry for a bit but nothing has poped out at me yet. Thanks for any help!

There's a built in program in settings called Microphone AGC that does exactly that.

Mine is on, but sometimes the other caller complains that they can't hear me either.

reading into that AGC program it seems to only be for recording, i.e. voice notes etc. I tried the same thing and noted no improvment.

If I remember correctly....in the AudioPara file there is a TX gain and TX volume field for speakerphone/phone/etc....the RX fields control what you hear...so I would deduce the TX fields might affect what your caller hears....give it a try...

Here is the link for the "AudioPara" Progarm that help in increasing ear/speaker..etc...dont know if it will also help in the MicGain...but it is a great program to have/install.

Looking at this currently, good find! I assume this file is in hex? all transmint levels are set to "4000" furthermore looks like AGC is disabled in transmit modes as believed.

If you figure it out, post the solution as I would like to know of a better way to boost transmit volume.

Upped codecTX and TXvolume, for earcuple (F11-16 maybe) will see how this works out, math wise the boost is ~30%
