I don't know how far back the log goes. My father in law is a subcontractor, and last year when he replaced his broken phone (job hazard) with an old phone that was activated 3 or 4 years ago. They offered the protection plan on that. Of course, for $7 a month, it wasn't worth it for a $50 phone.

I agree there is no upgrade/activation fee get the facts straight and if you want it replaced in store at a Sprint repair center like where I work it is $119 dollars without TEP or ESRP and will not be an upgrade it is done through eticket...this will be the same with Asurion if you have to make a claim through them in April of this year the price does go up.
