As was mine. On line chat was great, so much better than calling and waiting on hold.

I don't know how far back the log goes. My father in law is a subcontractor, and last year when he replaced his broken phone (job hazard) with an old phone that was activated 3 or 4 years ago. They offered the protection plan on that. Of course, for $7 a month, it wasn't worth it for a $50 phone.

eTicket automatically keeps a esn log along with the activate and deact dates.

Yeah. Absolutely painless process.

How do you do it online? Is there a tutorial available for that?

Are you sure about that? When I had Verizon they let me freely swap out ESNs for my various numbers, whether it was my brother switching phones with my dad or getting a replacement phone off ebay. In some cases I just had to call up Verizon to swap it out if I couldn't do it online. But I always though activation costs was just the cost of activating the phone number, or the process of transferring the number from another service, not necessarily swapping phones. Most of the time I've had that fee waived as well.

I agree there is no upgrade/activation fee get the facts straight and if you want it replaced in store at a Sprint repair center like where I work it is $119 dollars without TEP or ESRP and will not be an upgrade it is done through eticket...this will be the same with Asurion if you have to make a claim with TEP through them in April of this year the price does go up. Hope this helps.

To do it through Asurion, you have to have TEP or ERP on your account, otherwise they won't replace your phone.

You can still attempt to get your phone fixed at a corporate store, but they will charge you the 119$ if they need to replace it.

Okay so I went to a corporate store today told the lady that I didnot have insurance and the phone was added March 6, and she said I could get insurance but I would have to call *2 and I could getit fixed since she said it is within 30 days.

Its nice that she said I dont deserve a refurbished phone, but couldnt give me anew one instore?

So anyone know if I did have TEP could I get a new one in store and would I have to pay anything or? Since this TEP is new to me
