Touch PRO full MMS with CRICKET!!!

I did find a setting in my phone here:

HKLM/Software/Arcsoft/Arcsoft MMS UA/Config/MM1/MMSCSetting/CricketMMS

That says:

ConnectionVia: {1F994B49-C056-4503-99B0-37247BCC80F7}

I am wondering if that isn't the problem. I have no idea what that string value is and no idea on how to figure out if it is the right one or not.

Any ideas?

please visit cricket.howardforums.com for info. there is already a rom, and cabs that set all this up for you. you're way behind the curve.

You are correct there are several ones that setup everything for you. This one was posted for people that did not know about hofo.

Anyway hope it helps someone.

thanks ivan. i've posted a cricket rom here a few times, but it really gets no replies or information. the current cricket hofo rom is 4.30 and should work perfectly until a 6.5 rom is released.

I have used that rom, and it works great...just like it should, but the issue I am having is the fact that I still have to have an internet connection active to get my mms. If I don't, I get that error, which leaves me to believe there is some setting somewhere in my phone that isn't set up just right so that when it tries to connect to the internet to get my mms it runs into a problem.

I don't think in any way that it is the rom...this rom seems to work perfectly and I couldn't be more happy with it.

Just wanted to post my .2 cents worth.

P.S. This thread also has to be one of the best for info on getting everything to work as well.

kclive i really have no idea. i know you've posted here and hofo, but man thats really odd. no one i know has that issue. i know you've tried multiple phones, but i really think its something on your account.

I have called CricKet multiple times and had my account and browser reset so I have no idea what the issue would be. I really do appreciate all the help at HOFO and here as well, this is just driving me up the wall. I am going to call CricKet again and give them the specific info and see where that gets me. I will keep you all posted.

After having my account refreshed again I tried my mms, and it WORKED!! Then I used internet explorer, cancled internet explorer, sent another mms to my phone and had that error issue again. I deleted the HKLU/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/InternetSettings/Connections string and now I don't get the error, and it APPEARS the mms downloads like it should, but when I open it up, the mms isn't there and the download button is greyed out. Some progress has been made, but am still kinda lost on this.

As soon as I posted this, I tried another mms and got that error message again...wtf???

Wow bro it seems like there is something wrog somewhere on the device itself. wierd stuff bro..
