No Prl Update Software
 

Ive searched and i have had no luck really. What i am trying to do is find out if anyone here has the software for the prl update that makes it visible in the systems tab. i have found PPST_080909.... cab but i need the actual software for the prl that makes it visible in the settings/systems system menu, i think the other that has the same icon as the prl is the ppst, but either way on the stock rom both icons are green and black. Can anyone help, or for that matter understand what i am trying to find :(. Any help would be appreciated

BTW- The phone is new, out of the box yesterday

if it's new, it should be on there. kinda weird that it's not. did you flash a different rom or something? even if, most of the custom roms i have tried, has that feature in it. so really weird!

I haved flashed a rom but the thing is that the phone was like this before i flashed, i thought flashing would help.

If you're on Sprint and you have a CDMA device, then this is the .CAB you're looking for. this will install (2) icons in your systems-->settings tab. One will be 'Update PRL' and the other 'Update Profile'. I used these myself after flash to MightyROM one time (before I had data service active on a new device) and this fixed all the problems. Hope it works for you.
