Opera Mobile Tweak/Fix
 

Anyone know how to tweak Opera Mobile to not open a new tab when a link is clicked but instead open in the currently opened tab and instance of Opera?

Good question.
I'll have to look through "opera:config" page. There are soooooo many settings in there and I'm not familiar with them all.

Feel free to explore that at your own risk: just type opera:config in the address bar. Actually a few things pop up in autocomplete when you just type "opera:"

Great, thanks! KK's Custom ROM actually has this behavior. I was able to duplicate it when clicking a link in RSS Hub. Might help in your analysis. I'm interested in trying to reverse it or recreate it on other ROMs.

I've actually looked in opera:config but was never able to find anything. But its so myraid I could have easily missed something. There might also be a registry tweak, but I did not see anything obvious.

Down in the "user prefs" section there is an option for Single WindowBrowsing. Might disable the open in new tab menu item though.

I tried disabling and enabling that option. No change in behavior.
