WTH? Watched CorePlayer on TV with NO Flicker?!
 

At lunch today I went to the Nasa site to play the shuttle launch for a buff at work.
The phone dl'd an asx file and CorePlayer v1.3 took over.

While looking at the detail of the main tank detachment, dont ask, I put it on the TV through the HTC multi-adapter with cut blue wire and iPod cable.
We watched it twice with no flicker at all.

It wasn't until about an hour later I went what the heck!

So is there something about streaming that doesn't flicker or did I just get "lucky".
I tried TV Out with Core on that same TV and one at home and they both flickered unwatchably bad.

Unless I'm mistaken, you get flicker if your settings are for Qtv, but not with DirectDraw. Of course, resolution is lower.

So does ASX default to something besides Qtv? 'cause thats my setting.
