hope that was a lesson well learned. mentioning if a program is legal or not brought the thread some unwanted attention. see there? some one questioned the legality of the prog...and got the thread closed. my vote is to let the mods handle what's legal or not.

it's like being 17 and hanging out at a teenage after hour club that closes at 4am. we're all having a good time. who's going to be the one to say, "Hey, is this legal?" and bring all of the unwanted attention. "Who cares...let's jus have fun while it lasts." Rather it's legal or not...let the club owner worry about that, jus please...don't go ask him. it's just, silly.

I am really curious on how people are getting this going...I tried on stock rom (sprint) and mightyrom. Neither of them worked with it. It installs, asks to agree, and then wont open again.

ya same here, on stock, mightyrom and silent rom none work, tells me to install some program then after it still dont work :scratch:

same here. worked fine on the mogul. I got further then I'm getting now on erice's super extra clean rom using the old cab I had so I'm guessing this fixed one might work on that rom. I'm not interested in switching back though so guess no pocket g2 for me.

wont even open. i click open, it makes the loading thing, and then it dont open. ohh well :-\

it runs for me on stock sprint rom, but when i search, it doesn't find anything
edit: did a soft reset now it runs perfectly. thanx

Yea i have the same problem, it runs and searches but never finds anything. Are u using it over wi-fi or EVDO?

Also to the people that it will not run with (it brings up the loading circle but doesn't open) uninstall the program. Make sure you have .net Compact Framework 3.5 installed and only 3.5 DO NOT install it when pocketG2 asks u to the first time you open it, just say run with the current framework. Then reinstall pocketG2. That fixed it for me, now it just won't find anything when i search, but it opens fine.

Well it was working, but not anymore. Now it won't even open. It just gives an error and tells me to install .Net 3.5, but i already installed it. I tried uninstalling and re-installing pocket g2, .net 3.5, and i even tried the .net framework that comes with pocket g2 and it still won't run anymore. Well it was fun while it lasted.

that's the problem i had when running it on erice's clean rom. it worked the first time...but no more after that.

mightyrom...it's jus not coming on at all, after hitting accept the program crashes.
