ActiveSync issue

Recently Im having issues with connecting the touch pro phone to the pc with usb using ActiveSync and it is not recognizing the phone. The phone charges but wont let me install ROMs. Anybody have problems and tell me how to get my phone to recognize again? i dont use the SPrint CD that came with it. it usually automatically connects but now it doesnt.

1st off, is the touch pro unlocked?? if not, run unlocker 1st. if so, try flashing with an sd card...the sd card shud not be more than 2GB, formatted in FAT32, put the RUU on the root of the storage card. i believe, after u install sd card, put fone in bootloader mode then violla....if this is not accurate, guys please let us know...

Re: ActiveSync issue

yes. the phone has already been unlocked. its a 4gb memory card been working fine so far just wont recognize the phone with activesync. im currently using kk's loaded rom v1.7. i wanted to upgrade to v1.8. so if i copy the RUU files to the SD storage card it will work?

u said u were having prollems flashing, yes? ive chosen to jus flash from my sd instead of AS or WMDC. bro, jus read the post. put RUU on root of sd card. NO BIGGER than 2GB sd card must be formatted to FAT32 to flash from the sd.

I am not a big fan of ActiveSync. But make sure you have the advanced features disabled under settings > connections.

Re: ActiveSync issue

Try reinstalling Activesync on your computer. I had trouble flashing my Touch Pro the first time I tried and reinstalling AS took care of it.
