sprint vs verizon

It's clear the sprint tp is superior to the VZW tp and I plan to replace my VZW with sprint version. My question is would be better off hacking the sprint TP to work on VZW or should I just switch to sprint? the cost isn't that important, it's network performance I'm concerned about.

turbo, you just opened a can of worms! now this is going to turn into an argument about which company is better. i will ask you: do you like verizon? if so, you can buy a sprint tp and make it work for verizon but they(verizon) would have to accept the sprint esn. if you like paying low prices, then switch to sprint.

This really depends on your location. In my town, Verizon has better coverage, but Sprint's prices are so much cheaper. Plus, if I go someplace with no Sprint signal, there's always roaming.

Check the coverage maps, if you have coverage with both, I'd choose Sprint.

It really is up to your personal preference. I had Verizon but switched because of their customer service and price. I have a trucking company and I have trucks all over the country and we use Sprint. The reason is they offer (me) the best value for my dollar. I have coverage all over the US and where things get spotty, I roam on VZW for free. Beyond all that, Sprint seems to have a more robust data network. I get faster dl/ul speeds on my Sprint then I did with my VZW.

Just my two cents..hope it helps.

Sprint's prices are unbeatable, and since you can roam for free on the VZW network when/if you need it, you can have the best of both worlds :D

Unfortunately, roaming a sprint phone from vz towers does not work all that well (I know, I did it for two years)

IMHO, the "best of both worlds" is a Sprint TP ported to VZ service.......

Re: sprint vs verizon

personal preference for vzw because that is the only company I truly know but my bill is 150 every single month with poor customer service
I mean the customer service is really bad
my friend says to switch and that may be viable...but I'm not sure...I have a friend with sprint and he drops his calls 5x in chicago
so I have no idea on this one =/
speaking from doing the tp on vzw its sweet! very good option and as soon as the rhodium arrives on sprint that too will be on vzw =)
