keeps connecting

my htc touch pro keeps data connecting on its own! what keeps causing this??? thanks!

do u have any programs installed that might require a data connection or is your email setup?

have you EVER opened pocket express? it will connect on its own every 4 hours.

Its the pocket express, RSS, and weather programs. Go to settings and turn off all the AUTO UPDATES. Same thing happened to me...

this fixed it for me to, just gotta make sure all of ur programs yu connect to the internet with dont auto update.

it could be any of that stuff, or your email send/recieving... your phone will alwys do this.. only way is to disable the radio...

not true. If you disable the radio then you won't get calls either. Just turn off push email or update weather, etc and it won't constantly connect.
