Help Extracting Shellres?

im trying to extract my shellres.dll.0409.mui so that i can edit my start menue text and change it to something else. however nothing i do is working to extract it. i have been using TotalCommander.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE OUT THERE I CAN USE TO TRY AND EXTRACT IT?

FYI i did a search on "extracting shellres" and only cam up with about 6 threads which i read through and they didnt have what i needed.

hmm, you might have better luck finding an existing shellres.dll from XDA and copying that onto your phone

would that work? like it wouldnt mess up my phone?

and if i did that how the heck would i get it back into my phone... thanks for the advse by the way

figured it out!!! lol i found a program called RomExtractor.exe which worked perfect! lol im going to start a thread on what i have done with this program thanks again for directing me to xda
