TOUCH PRO WMODEM where is it?
 

Ive been looking for wmodem.exe for a long time since i got the touch pro..
can anyone get it working?
i tried using the htc titan version but it wont load for some odd reason. is there a way to hexedit or hack the wmodem.exe so it loads? i dont think the ics app lets you open ports which is critical for a perfect internet connection

still no reply this is like the 3rd or fourth time ive posted asking for wmodem.. WHAT IS THE F**KING DEAL!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

perhaps you should search the forum or seach google instead of doing nothing about it. I searched google and cabe up with at least 50 hits

This is not a working wmodem.exe for the touch pro, it is just the driver. Where is the working wmodem.exe

its a simple app you run on your phone


worked fine with the titan

you run it, select START to start the modem, plug it into your USB and your pc detects it at a modem, allowing you to establish a PPP connection to the internet

you select STOP to stop the modem

This is not that.

its pretty easy to tell when people lie about searching and that their really being lazy..

i wouldnt be posting here so desperately if i hadn't done that already, but thanks for trying i appreciate it. i also posted on xda-developers about this, someone posted a .zip with 3 different versions of wmodem.exe from various WM6.1 roms, none of them will load, you execute the EXE and it does nothing.. as in exit(-1);
