No backslash key?

Am I blind, or does the Touch Pro's hardware keyboard actually have no backslash key for typing file paths, not even as a Function key?

if you press the "sym" key thats to the left of the spacebar, it should be in that menu.

It's possible to remap keys. Give me a sec, I'll make you a cab

EDIT: Here you go, install this cab and soft reset. Now, when you need a backslash, press the "FN" key then "M"

One of my many add-ons must have disabled the Sym key entirely. :-(

I have no idea which one. Isn't that pathetic?

I may try the backslash.cab.

Thank you, but that didn't work for me. I must already have a remapping program, buried somewhere in everything I've installed. That remapper, wherever it is, is probably also disabling the Sym key.

Again, thanks anyway.

I used mortscript to make a single press of the slash key type a "/" and double press to type a "\". A double press of TXT composes a new message.

if you have downloaded the "Diamond 2" keyboard it would cause some of your keys to not work and some to show another key than what you pressed. hope that helps.

this sounds like a pretty good solution. Can you tell us how to do it?
