Shake and Save - Screenshot taker (new)
Sorry if this is a dup, I couldn't find anything using the search by the same name. Anyway I found a new app that allows you to take screenshots of your phone, simply by opening the program and shaking it, it can also save in 4 different formats, .png, .gif, .jpeg and .bmp
Seems like an interesting concept, also while using remember to hold your phone tight! Enjoy! http://www.extreme-apps.com/ShakeAndSaveHome.php Mirror: http://www.filefactory.com/file/af4c...Save_Setup_cab (to not overwhelm the creator's site) |

Re: Shake and Save - Screenshot taker (new)
LOL, I think I'll just stick with SPB screenshot myself.
This may be a very cool program, but I can just see myself throwing the phone across the room...(kinda like that kid in the TV ad throwing the Wi controller thru the TV screen) ~John |

Actually it works very, very well. Its extremley easy to use...once its running....you just shake it (you dont have to shake it anywhere near as hard as you would need to do to throw it across the room...) and it comes up saying it saved the picture and what directory it saved to. Its awesome! Much easier than any other screenshot app I've used. |

I love SPB screenshot myself..But lately im all about trying new programs so im gonna give this a try.

Re: Shake and Save - Screenshot taker (new)
The thing is, you have to first start the program (unless you leave it running in the BG all the time). You start SPB screenshot also.
At that point, SPB needs one click to take a shot. I'm not really sure I see how shaking the phone (& taking a chance on dropping it) is any easier than just clicking thru on SPB at that point......... ~John |

Re: Shake and Save - Screenshot taker (new)
thanks! works perfect for a screen shot of something Im trying to take that disappears if I push a button. since spb screenshot does not let me assign a hardkey like it says this works better.

Re: Shake and Save - Screenshot taker (new)
this is my fav screenshot program.
it allows you to go to any spot you want with it running in the background, then just shake when you get to the part you want to save. only thing i wish you could change was the save location. i hate having to go to the programs folder to get the screenshot... |
Re: Shake and Save - Screenshot taker (new)
It has an advantage, it saves to the SD card. i could not change SBC setting to save there.
