Make TP Run Faster And Smoother
 

Questions my brother called last night and told me he read somewhere on here that there was a way to do something to the .exe's on the TP to make it run faster. hes kinda of an idiot so he couldnt really explain himself lol...

i think its works by compressing the files or something...idk even know what to search for so is there anyone that can point me in the right place...

Yes it is used for custom roms not stock

you can do this to a lot of the exe's, i made a thread a while ago about it here, and there's more info on xda. you don't need a custom rom to do it.

I agree. But the key componenet here is that you have to follow the directions and take it for what its worth. As it states it is a tweak that involves trial and error. So Far I have discovered that most of the programs that I have compressed do load faster. Some that I rarely use don't and thus I remove the compression. I would say I recommend ONLY if you know what you are doing. AND MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP!!

So Ive seen comments saying this is possible, but how do you compress stock ROM files from the Windows folder?

They are all basically saying they are read-only. Or is everyone having success only doing this for the ROMs theyre cooking?
