need help with wifi router. have new ics and wifirouter cabs. laptop nor other phones recognize it. what the heck am i doing wrong?

Are you devices set up to see AD-Hoc networks.

Does your phone show that it is ready?

i dont know if its set up for ad-hoc...kind of lost when you said that. but yes it says its connected and ready.

actually i was mistaken.i thought it was fixed but its not. been goofing around with it but now it is not saying ready. what it says is that wlan is on but is still waiting for ics. internet sharing is working fine when connected by usb but wmwifi is not (not running simultaneously)...any suggestions? tethering, ics instal, and wmwifi was removed, reinstalled and soft reset...confused now.
