is there a way to keep all of my text convos after a hard reset? i really do not want to lose some of these conversations, and i would like to be able to view them the same way i can view them now (threaded sms's)

use pim backup it saves contacts texts call logs calendar and more to a file on the sd card.... works great. http://www.dotfred.net/

+1 for PIM backup. works on texts, e-mails, contacts, speed dials... even works to move this info between WM devices...

+2 for PIM backup. very easy to backup your contacts, SMS, call history, and e-mails. You can choose what you want to back up and what you want to restore. Did I mention it's very easy to use?

I heard that there are problems with PIM backup and restoring text messages in threaded mode. Is this true? I don't use threaded mode but thought the OP should be aware anyways.

the main thing i want is the texts in threaded mode ... so if it doesnt work then im not interested.
