activesync
 

hi, i seem to be having some problems with activesync. i've uninstalled and reinstalled activesyc 4.5 and cannot get it to connect. on the computer, the wee activesync icon spins and that's all it's doing.
on the TP i click on activesync when i first connects and nothing.
any suggestions?

I honestly have had so much trouble with Activesync with this phone I gave up...initially it worked, then it was giving me double appts, then it stopped altogether, never to work again...I figured out last week how to do an OTA sync with gmail for contacts and calendar, which I've found to be a great solution in my case...might be worth looking at...once in google calendar, I believe there are ways to sync that back and forth directly with Outlook if you really need outlook for some reason...

Have you tried syncing via bluetooth? I gave up on syncing through a USB connection back when I had my Mogul.

check your device manager. what does it recognize the tp as? also.. does the active sync logo appear on your tp topbar when u connect it?

Start > Settings > Connections tab > USB to PC > uncheck Advanced Network Functionality. Try again.
