Google Map Issues - can't paste
 

I'm using Google Maps version 3.0.0.12 and have noticed a few errors with this latest release.

I can't copy/paste within text boxes in google maps. With previous versions, I used to copy addresses from txt messages and paste them into the search box. Now when I press and hold, nothing happens. I know I have the address stored in memory. Right now the only solution to being able to paste is by using TouchPal keyboard and going into the options that has a paste button.

Also, when I first load the program I can't hit the 'Search' button at the bottom left. I have to select Menu and then search or directions for anything to happen.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution?

I have tried realigning my screen just in case it wasn't taking my taps. I've tried reinstalling as well.

I didnt like that either but when you copy what ever you wanted from where ever it was, go into google maps, put the cursor in the box where you want to paste it and hit-(control-key and the V-key sumultaniously like you would do with the keyboard of a computer) hope this is clear to u cuz im blown.:headbang:

cool, didn't know you could paste that way. Will keep that in mind when im using the keyboard. Still wondering why the latest version of google maps is buggy. Never had any issues with other versions since it came out.
