Text SMS KEEPS sending!

I have a text message in my outbox that KEEPS SENDING...it wont move to sent itmes..

it if delete it it will stop.

Ive tried doing clear text message like i read but that did no fix it.

im on SPrint, Touch Pro flash to RSTG (AWESOME) rom



any ideas guys??

Hey man what rom are you currently using?? I had the same problem with mighty rom 4.10 the new one is perfect though no problems

did this start happening after a pim restore? mine did this after a restore. i ended up clearing all my txt then just hard resetting.
there's instructions somewhere here on setting txt view to old style, then back to threaded, but that didn't fix my issue. if a hard reset isn't an option for you, then i guess you can try that... IIRC, it's something like,
1. set sms view to (non threaded)
2. soft reset
3. restore just the txt with the pim util
4. soft reset
5. set sms to threaded
6. open sms app and let it "re-thread" all sms (took my phone a while, i had 3000+ msgs)
7.soft reset again
8. you're done.

but like i said, it didn't fix the prob on mine. so all i did was clear all sms, and then hard reset, and when i did the pim restore, i unchecked sms restore, so it restored everything but my old sms msgs

same thing happened to me...a hard reset solved it. this happened when I tried to setup active sync with a PC while still using the OTA active sync. The messages got stuck in the outbox.

hAD THe same problem, all you have to do is delete all the messages thats in your outbox, sent items and also your text messages. Then do a soft reset. You can find the option in the menu in your text messaging

It's most likely stuck in the outbox.
