Verizon Touch PRO to SPRINT service???

Hey guys i just bought a Verizon Touch Pro but i have a sprint service so i am trying unlock it then Edit the ESN to use it with my sprint account and then put a Good ROM on it.

so here are my questions:

1. which on is the best file to use to unlock my Verizon Touch pro
2. how to SuperCID the phone
3. which software is the best for the ESN editting (uniCDMA, QPST, or anyother)??
4. then what is the best ROM to Use with Sprint Service??

I'm sure a lot of people are confused about this post...

WHY???? would you spend $$ on getting a Gimped VZW Touch Pro and Unlock it to use with Sprints Service??

That is like getting the WORST of both worlds.

If you are with sprint... get a SPRINT touch pro. I think u are a bit confused...

In terms of your questions, READ the stickies up above in this forum. for CDMA Touch Pros. Unlock, Reflash, ROM Cooking is all covered.

In terms of ROM flashing u'll need to try them before u can decide... I've flashed mine... once a day for 2 weeks to try out different ones.

I'd return it and get the Sprint TP...

Since your ESN won't be in sprints database of valid ESN's, you wouldn't even be able to activate it...

If you are already in Sprint WHYYY OOHHH WHYYY would you get the gimped Verizon version?

Besides, if it doesn't have the Sprint logo, forget about it, Sprint will not activate it. It is not on their database.

1. Read the stickies at top, you'll find the answer to No.1. It is right there and there is only one.

2. I have never SuperCID any phone.

3. It's kind of illegal in the U.S. so I cannot help you on that one. I mean, yes what happens here is kind of borderline at times, but changing ESN goes a bit beyond my comfort zone.

4. There is no best rom, you need to figure out which one satisfies your needs.

Anyway...I concur with my fellow geeks that buying a gimped VZW Pro to put on Sprint is lunacy.

Also even without the illegal factor for the esn changing its not possible yet on the new hardware from htc. Sorry waste of time for now, it won't work

Currently you can use a Sprint ESN on Verizon, but not the other way around. Sprint hasn't opened up their network to equipment from any other carrier yet.
