Looking for a program...
Hello,
On the Iphone commercials, theres a program, where you hold it up to the radio, and it can find out what song it is. Is there one that we can use for the touch pro? |
Re: Looking for a program...
There is and any answer you get here will be warez.
Please close this thread. |
Re: Looking for a program...
look on google, the program cant be posted here as it is either not free or someother reason
|
Re: Looking for a program...
Since when is it illegal to name a program? Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't really see the wrongness (is that a word?) of naming the software. It is a program someone is able to buy and use on their phones...
The program is call musicID. |

Re: Looking for a program...
While I think not even being able to speak the name of the application is a bit dramatic, (like Volde....uh....He who shall not be named...). I agree that it shouldn't be linked to or hosted from this website.
Having said that...as far as I know...MusicID was created for AT&T WinMo phones and was tweaked by some clever XDA devs to work on all WinMo phones....there is a feature that will link you to AT&T's music store once it finds the song so that you can purchase it....if you dont have AT&T that link just doesnt work. If you have AT&T, you might be able to get it free...I have no idea...I've never had AT&T. If you want it bad enough..you'll find it...but be warned...dont ask any other questions on PPCGeeks about it (ie - how to find, install, or use it)...You risk a flame war and worse...the ban hammer! |
Re: Looking for a program...
Honestly guys, its really not that big of an issue. If any of you who said this is illegal warez etc... actually looked instead of posting you would have found a service called shazam. Its bascially a system that you dial a number while listening to the music, hold your phone up to the soundtrack and it texts you with the title and artist. http://www.shazam.com/music/web/pages/2580.html
Its been out since Windows 5.0 so its not a new idea. Its not here in the US yet but I'm sure theres some sort of alternative. |

Actually...Shazam makes the very application we are all referring to. |

Re: Looking for a program...
I will close this thread down. It is fine to discuss a program, name the program, etc, but you cannot post it here or link to a download from here.
