Opera not working with stock settings
 
So I received my tp. I've done no modding whatsoever, only phone calls so far. When just booting up the opera browser, the little yellow loading bar at the bottom stops and I get the red "error!" along with "Could not locate remote server". What the hell am I doing wrong?

Update: Tried the reset, still doesn't work. Trying to setup an e-mail I get a connection error. My weather functionality doesn't appear to be working either.

sometimes after you get the phone connected it takes a little while for the Data connection to work.

What's a little while? Do you mean when actually opening opera, it should connect even after the errors and remote server problem?

After you avtivate a new phone it takes a while everything to work right. Try finding a wifi spot and see if it works.

Does one have to connect to a wifi spot as I thought these were "broadband" style connectivity if needed as I had with my old mogul. I actually never used wifi on the mogul. Any other ideas?

Try a hard reset since its new

Just tried it and I get the same message. Anyone else have ideas? Next step will be to call up sprint support ...of course after work so I'll continue to see if anyone else can chime in.
