newest version of mms for touch pro?
 
wow tell me to search. cmon. do it! I did! I'm still not able to find a good cab that works well with the touch pro and verizon. I found a few that were aimed towards the titan but they don't seem to work well when creating a new mms and some of the incoming ones lock it up too. Anyways, if you've managed to find a good cab for the newest release of arcsoft that works well with the touch pro and verizon, please humor me and post a link or attach it.

Hmmmmmm

SEARCH! Nah, just kidding, not even going to say it because I can tell you already that there is not much info on this....

I have all the files you need from the VZW ROM..... They work great. But they are OEM. Will that work fer ya? I can try to cab it but I doubt highly I have the "CAB" skills for that... maybe if I post someone else can CAB?

I attached it all in one single ZIP.

The folder is Arcsoft latest version... Its actually newer than the VZW ROM. I think I got it from GC's Kitchen..... I forget. The ProvXML is 100% from VZW ROM.

Let me know if you need anything else but this works perfect in my ROM's as OEM's....

I would try to CAB but dont have the time.... Also the Caulkin Kitchen has an MMS Cab for Sprint... Maybe you can use that as a base?

I suck at hard cabs ;c(

ya normal cabs are easy but these mms cabs are packed with data.

This one works perfect for me. At first you wont think it installed correctly because it dont reference MMS in the account list but go into your text and click "New" then "MMS"

So there is no confusion, both !!!bored!!!'s and my Arcsoft MMS are identical. I didn't realize it until this morning that when I posted it, I forgot awhile back I had just changed the file name (for what I cannot remeber right now). But internally, they are both identical.

sweet I'll give those a go guys...

and to answer your question scott, yes I have had great luck with gc's OEM but a lot of these more proprietary ROMs don't have a kitchen so an OEM isn't an option... Thanks for posting some .cabs to try I'll report back if any issues.

well...mms doesnt work...sms does...im assuming mms doesnt work because when i looked at the xml there was no mms server in there (not the correct one at least) also it lost the ability to change servers...so i went back to the other

Ok, but are you referring to the .46R1 or the .44?

EDIT: And are you on Sprint or Verizon?

Arcsoft Verizon MMS 5.0.69.44.cab seens to work VERY well... I haven't found any issues with it so far. What's the reason for trying to get 5.0.68.46R1 to work?

I assume 5.0.69.44 is the newest then?

Okay, I'm not sure wtf is going on but I keep getting "Originator Address not Found" message but I can't seem to get any version of MMS working now? It used to work?!?!?!

I did some searching around and can't really find anything conclusive on how to fix this other than verifying the vzw key thing and the server settings, which are all fine!

Anyone have any idea?

I had the exact same problem.

I googled it & found a bunch of fixes, but NONE of them worked.

I gave up on it for a few days & then reflashed my ROM for a different reason. Ever since I reflashed, MMS has worked fine........

Well my problem was apparently due to Verizon... go figure... any time something is wrong with my h4x0r of a phone I assume it's MY fault.. but having mms disabled from your account is a good reason for it to stop working. :P

LOL, yea that would do it too. I also figured it was my fault, but I had called VZ just to make sure & they told me everything looked fine at their end.

Verizon isn't easy. I'm still trying to an MMS fix for Silence X Lite, have not gotten it to work with a variety of Arcsoft versions. Ended up just reflashing after friends were getting like 8 copies of every text I'd send, still have yet to send a pic successfully since flashing from the stock rom.

If anyone has any luck getting MMS to work on a verizon phone, I'd love to hear about it.](*,)

Hi, John. Can I ask what ROM you use? Not sure if that will make a difference, but maybe if I emulate your setup, I'll figure it out.

Also, did you install a carrier cab? I've tried it both ways, but didn't work either way.

I've been having a nightmare with getting MMS working on my Sprint Touch Pro on VZW network. It was my only problem and this version of Arcsoft fixed it. I've tried the 5.0.70 and 5.0.96 vzw cabs and none worked till I tried 5.0.69.44.

I am haven trouble getting mms workn on NFSfan 1.5 rom every cab from this thread i have tried. Alls i get is mms failed to send. retry now or later. My server settings are right if anyone could help it be thankfull :) Oh i can recevie pics just fine just cant send
