Delay in Opening Sounds & Notifications>Notifications
 

I don't remember this happening before, but it has been a while since I've been in there. When I try to go into settings>sound & notifications>notifications, the little windows wheel comes up and spins for about 30 seconds before it will finally open. I was just curious if this is normal or if I possibly did something to cause it. Please post and let me know if you get the same thing or not.

I have a delay too, but mine is maybe 15 sec.... It had the same delay like my touch had going in to notifications.

It may be doing a scan of /windows to build a list of audio files for you to choose... I am pretty sure mine was faster before I dumped in the 15 bazillion manilla files needed for TF3d HD.

Bottom line - seems to be 'normal' or at least a common behavior.

This issue is cause by the massive number of manila files in the windows folder like schettj said.
If you installed any modified version of manila or the one from the HD it makes it 10x worse.
I finally did a hard reset and a restore and did not restore any of the manila files and it fixed it right up
Mine now takes 2 secs to open with just the stock manila files.

OK...thanks guys. I probably hadn't been there since I installed the HD Manila. No big deal, I was just curious if it had always been that way and I just didn't notice. Case closed.
