VZ Touch Pro extended battery
 

Hi all, I have a Verizon Touch Pro (6850), I know this a long shot but I thought I would give it a try. Does anyone know of a source for extended batteries for this device and a back cover big enough to fit the exteneded battery if necessary?

Call VZW and ask for PDA Support. I know a few people have purchased the extended battery with a new cover through them.

HTC hasnt made an extended battery for the Touch Pro so you would get one at your own risk Last time I called HTC was February 23, 2009. They have not made one for the phone and the Diamond either

I called Verizon and the extended battery plus back cover comes to around $50 and change. Probably the same one you can buy from that previous link.

Where did you get the battery? Is this approved by Verizon? I need it bad! I recieve anywhere between 20 to 30 text messages a day on top of as maney calls and e-mails and have to find something that is Verizon approved??

Hi call Verizon tech support and ask for the PPC support people and ask to purchase the extended battery. I am going to assume it is approved by Verizon since they sell it. It can with a new back cover that has a small hump in it but still fits in my holster style case.

The battery from Verizon is 1850maH and it has the HTC logo right on it.
