Re: does this work on a touch pro
Sure it will, 700mA is tolerable

Re: does this work on a touch pro
It looks like there is a mini usb plug so it should. Cool find.

Re: does this work on a touch pro
Why not, I don't see why it wouldn't. The output voltage is 5.5VDC@700mA, which can be considered as a fast charger for the TP.
On the other hand, the solar panel's output is not very impressive, 80mA is even less than when TP is on standby... |
Re: does this work on a touch pro
Appreciate the share, i would think not, that being said i was reading article and the part thats says that tips included for nokia, samsung, etc. htc touch pro wasnt included. thats just my opinion. it would be great if it worked considering battery lifo of the pro..lol THNXS

Re: does this work on a touch pro
I use a motorola car charger on my TP, works great.
However, I dont think 80mA will charge the TP, my phone is showing a discharge current of 203mA just sitting here. edit: whoops, had WiFi going, 93mA now |
Re: does this work on a touch pro
:( would be neat if it had more output

Re: does this work on a touch pro
Hi There,
I work for Devotec- The Solar Charger comes with a mini- usb, so should be fine for an HTC TP, or any other HTC device. We have not tested it with the TP directly, but we have not found a phone that it doesnt work with yet. Also, to clear up: The solar panel is meant to trickle charge the internal 1800mAh battery. So one charges their phone from the battery, not the solar panel directly. The idea being to charge the internal battery by solar/usb/AC first, and then use the charger as needed. |

ahhh that makes more sense, there's a built in battery in the charger |
