Does 'Buttons' in Settings really do anything?
In the Settings menu, I happened to open 'Buttons'. Weirdly, it had almost all the buttons listed as .Net Configuration, and because multiple buttons had the same value, it refused to let me leave the dialog. I guessed what they were supposed to be--which was difficult because they aren't named, they're all listed simply as 'Button'.
The bottom line is that those settings don't seem to make any difference either way. The buttons on the Touch Pro behaved correctly before, and they do now. So does the Touch Pro simply ignore that 'Buttons' control panel? |
Re: Does 'Buttons' in Settings really do anything?
Perhaps similarly, the 'Phone' control panel has an Advanced page with a checkbox for rejecting all calls (!). This checkbox was set when I looked at it (i.e., as a default), even though (as far as I know) I have been receiving calls correctly. Again, perhaps the Touch Pro ignores this.

I now believe that TF3D overrides the button settings (again, except for touch-and-hold). |
