dvdfab can probably convert it to the resolution of your touch pro, which is 640x480, so all you need is a good media player on your phone to play it. And that is TCPMP or Core Player. Here's a link for tcpmp. get the first one in this post. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...73&postcount=2 Let me know if you need any more help,

yeah, I know for sure that DVDFab platinum can do it. I used to do it for my Mogul and Touch Pro and just started ripping dvd's for my iPod Touch. (only got it for better games and video quality)

For best results and something that will actually work here is what I do.

Tools:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=467112
http://www.dvdfab.com/

Rip the movie to a folder on your local hard drive. I believe that using an external makes things slower.

Use the converter to open the VIDEO_TS.IFO in the folder that you ripped the movie too with the program from XDA.

Choose your correct settings on the converter.

Let it convert! (it is a bit slow, but it does the job)

PM me if you need help.

also adding to the an above posters comments, if your gonna do tcpmp as ur player..

go here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=50788 and follow the 1st set of steps very carefully and youll get a very close to HD quality play out of tcpmp and youll gain the ability to use youtube through PIE as well and not just the youtube app on the TP

Everyone has they're favorite way.
I use AnyDVD for on the fly decryption, I want to try DVD43 to see if it still works it's free.
I use handbrake to convert to Xvid with 160kb/s MP3 audio.
The only option checked is decomb and the video bitrate is set at 650kbs.

That gives about 350mp per hour and the quality is very nice.
Oh yeah you also have to set the resolution manually to 480x272.

Play with the settings and see what works for you instead of looking for a step by step.

I thinkit tooks weeks, at least days, of converting before I found something I was happy with.
