Internet Tab Issues
 

I have an HTC Touch Pro from Sprint, and I have been playing with different ROMs over the past few days. I finally cooked up the ROM that I want and got it installed, but I have one problem and if I got this fixed I'd have the perfect ROM for me. In my cooked up ROM I selected to have the newer IE6beta installed and no Opera Mobile (because I dislike not being able to upgrade it when installed on the ROM). I downloaded the new Opera Mobile of the website and absolutely love it (way fast :-D). The only problem is that no matter what I set the registry key to for DEFBROWSER, it never opens Opera. I have located the Opera file on my device and set that path as the value, but it just thinks for a few secs and opens nothing.

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:DEFBROWSER
0=Opera Browser
1="\Program Files\Opera 9.5 Beta\OperaL.exe"

Anyone have any suggestions?

Try this

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\: DEFBROWSER
"0"=Opera Browser
"1"=\Windows\OperaL.exe

i am having the same problem on my Mighty ROM 5. I have tried both ways with no success. Does anyone have a solution?
