Export / Import Contacts to Samsung Rant From Touch Pro
 

Anyone know of the best way to Export a contacts list from the Touch Pro, maybe to some kind of Excel spreadsheet and then Import them into my Samsung Rant? I don't need ALL contacts, just a group and a few other people. Or do I get the joy of typing in those 50 contacts? :(

Or do I have no choice but to like import ALL my contacts and then delete the ones I don't need?

Oh, and I would post this on Sprint Users, but their site is down, lol!

Also, to anyone that MAY have a Rant, I've got a problem trying to setup my email, it says an update is available, and it goes through that process, but never downloads the update. Anyone know why?

Have you tried sending them via bluetooth? Not sure if it would work or not, but you might give it a try.

Here is a step by step:

Turn on visible bluetooth on both phones
Use one to search for the other and pair the two phones
Go to the rant, and look for an option to send via bluetooth
On the touch pro, you should have to approve the contacts

Easy as that, if not go to a sprint store.

Seems to work pretty well, wonder if I can select multiple contacts or the whole group...

Just figured it out. Filter > Select All > Send = Win!
