touch pro change default browser
I want to get rid of Opera and Internet Explorer and just use Skyfire. Is there a way to make Skyfire load when you tap the Internet icon that is on the bottom of the home page instead of Opera? Also, when I click a link from a text message, Internet Explorer loads, but I am assuming this will correct itself if I remove IE from the phone. Basically I want to use Skyfire for everything internet/browser related.

Re: touch pro change default browser
Kristen, I have found that there is a setting in Skyfire that will make it the default browser. It is in the setting tab of Skyfire. I have not found a way to make the home screen browser icon start Skyfire. I don't think it will automatically switch to Skyfire by deleting Internet Expolorer. I hope this helps out.

Re: touch pro change default browser
Most of the responses above relate to SF as default browser in opening links; however, they won't change SF to the default in TF3D. I spent hours trying to figure that out, until I found the ssmapa solution that bestjudge referenced. The only downside is that, while opening tf3d links workks great, just hitting "open browser" is a dead end and you have to press back" to get to the start page.
